Turkey is making a huge mistake. If they co-lead the charge for a no fly zone, then all of their possible future credibility in the Muslim world is down the drain. They are too focused on the Kurd situation, and not looking at the bigger picture.
I agree about the Kurds. As the boundaries and loyalties shift in the chaotic picture, it will be interesting to see if they can seize any initiative. There are a Kurds in Syria too. Turkey is obsessed with them. An Achilles heel.
The Syrian Kurds seem to be more of a threat to them now. Divide and conquer is alive and well. The Balkanization through regime change continues. Wonder how the Kurds will get along with the A/Q and other Sunni fundamentalist factions.
'Wonder how the Kurds will get along with the A/Q and other Sunni fundamentalist factions'. Not very well I suspect in the light of their alliances in Northern Iraq. The Syrian 'resistance' is more of an unfeasible ragbag than even the one in Libya. There is chaos in Libya at the moment although it has been displaced in the headlines.
