I meant to post this last week when the story was current but ran out of time. It remains, and will remain, a scandal. Ghailani was cleared of 284 charges making a mockery of these show-trials 'in the shadow of Ground Zero' (Bah). The civilian trials are as big a farce as the discredited US Military Tribunals. So much for justice American style. And Obama's promise to close down Guantanamo....?
