I notice Phil Woolas, the little Blairite who is suspended from Parliament just now, voted for the war. It says a lot about the Labour Party and how they have learned nothing that backbench Labour M.P.s are backing him despite his despicable lies about his opponent being in cahoots with Islamic extremists. It also says a lot about our democracy that the only way he was challenged was by his LibDem opponent havign to use his own money to challenge him through the judicial system. Where was the Parliamentary and Labour Party reaction to the scandal before this??
