This observation requires some concentration since it is made in the context of conducting self-perpetuating war in a hall of mirrors. The logic is this:
1. The Bush doctrine maintains that it is necessary to fight 'terror' over there to prevent having to fight it over here.
2. Fake veterans are pretending to have fought 'the terrorists' over there. A pretence.
3. Since the Bush doctrine itself is a pretence which even Bush himself has distanced himself from on occasions, the fake veterans are actually being perfectly consistent in their behaviour.
To be a fake veteran is to perpetrate an illusion within an illusion/delusion. Perfectly logical. But is it right?
The hall of mirrors is reflecting their own image of Empire.
ReplyDeleteNo one knows what is real, and what is not.
War is peace-peace is war.
This seems to be the destiny of a dying Empire.
What we are talking about here ,RZ, is a mirror image of a conundrum within an enigma within a question mark within a mystery. Or is it?
