Jack Straw At Chilcott - Cabinet Was 'Briefed' On Iraq

So the cabinet was 'briefed' rather than consulted on a war decision which was to kill hundreds of thousands and displace millions. A clear admission that the democratic process called cabinet government was circumvented by Blair, Straw and Campbell. I knew that anyway but when spivs like Straw can drop it in as a throwaway line, it really has come to something in Britain. Our political institutions have been crumbling before our eyes in a slow drip...drip.....drip.
