Libya No-Fly Zone - A Proposal Without Wings

A no fly zone in Libya would begin with bombing of the airports, air-strips and surrounding areas. An act of war which would escalate and cause many of the more patriotic and Islamic-minded Libyans to rally to the Ghaddafi cause. Even many of those who have no love for the barking Colonel. To make no mention of the ‘collateral’ victims for whom the US have such an affinity (ask Hamid Karzai’s family). Another alarm bell ringing is the identity of the cheerleaders for the hawkish option. Particularly in America, these are the same clowns who uttered the ‘cakewalk’ and ‘what could possibly go wrong?’ mantras re Iraq and Afghanistan. How are those cakewalks going again?
