Pastor Wayne Sapp - 'UN Carnage Not My Fault'

The pastor attempted to defend the burning of the Koran and launched another attack on Islam. He has described Friday's atrocities as "tragic and criminal but not down to us".

How dare you deny you had any involvement in the death of these people, you are dirt compared to them.
They choose to bring hope, education, knowledge and medicine.
You choose to profess ignorance and hate.
Your judgement will be justified in this life and the next.

    Mat 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you

Pastor Wayne Sapp must have known that his idiotic actions would have had dire consequences, the blood of these people is on his hands.

As someone that lives and works in Afghanistan I have nothing but contempt for this pastor. I was friends with many of the UN dead, who were here to help the people of this country.

In future, I suggest you come to this country and burn copies of the Koran in front of the local people. See how strong your resolve is then.

You are nothing more than a coward. Inciting hatred in the name of religion makes you no better than those we call fanatics.

You have blood on your hands.

Really? Really? Come on people where is your perspective? Sapp and his colleagues are idiots, without any doubt. But this MUST NOT, cannot excuse the acts of the ‘innocent’ perpetrators of these horrific acts or the 'Mullahs' who with malice and malevolence intentionally incite the population to such acts of violence! They do not seek to hold responsible the persons who have performed the insult. No, they targeted anyone who is not a members of their community. This is the ultimate xenophobia of which the west is so often accused. The Nepali guards who were killed were certainly NOT Christians! Most likely they were Hindu or Buddhist. But apparently this distinction does not matter…
Let us examine this from a different perspective. Members of other religions are routinely killed, their 'Holy books' and sacred places are often vandalized or destroyed in Muslim countries. How often do the Buddhist or Christian communities run amok, rioting, killing? If they did, would we simply excuse them for their actions? What is this dual standard for behavior?

I guess we in America will have to burn down a mosque each time the Stars and Stripes are burned.

    that seems fair.

  8. Pastor Sapp would purport to be a Christian. Is book burning (holy book or not) something which Christ would have done or ever condoned? This is always the best answer to bigoted Christians, IMHO. Christian fundamentalists are not the only bigots in this story, I am sure, but they started the ball rolling in this episode.
