Iraqis Enjoying The Benefits of US Nation Building

Obama dropped into his speech yesterday that 'We ended the combat mission in Iraq last year'. That should come as a surprise to the families of the 9 US service personnel who have died so far this month alone. 13 died in April/May in Iraq. Not to mention the daily carnage of the indigenous population which the US unleashed in 2003 and which continues. 


Bad model for his developing 'Mission Accomplished' spin in the run up to the 'drawdown'. Just about as bad as his analogy with Libya where he is selling the deal as the US facilitating others (NATO) to 'assist' in........ In what exactly? Nation building?
