Iraq War 'Over' - Obama

It's certainly over for these recent casualties, more people who will not be included in the statistics. Or in such statistics as there are. It's not over for their families. It's not over as far as we at Wolves In The City are concerned. We have posted on the rape of Iraq since the invasion and botched occupation opened the Pandora's box of death and chaos which has beset the Iraqis. Our sympathies are with the Iraqi people, the true victims here, and no one else. That will continue as our policy and we will not be 'moving on'. Obama's speechwriters handed him the paper which led him to describe Iraq today as 'sovereign, stable, and self-reliant'.The only word in that phrase which is not grotesquely inaccurate is 'and'.
