Obama Comes Out For 'Families'

Obama in an electioneering speech says his administration is determined to help servicemen, veterans and their families with their economic and health care needs as conflicts overseas end or wind down and they return to the nation they have served. Got the health care reference in ok but he forgot to mention the civilian families, numbering hundreds of thousands, who suffered from the US-led invasion. Did he pledge any help to those Iraqi families whose children have been born deformed as a result of Depleted Uranium in Fallujah?

  1. There is no, and will be no mention of Iraq in the White House, D.C., or even in the campaign.
It is one subject that is off limits for both sides of the aisle.
    They have moved on.

  2. Indeed. A Tweeter from Iraq has just sent me a link to a Fallujah birth study. Will put it up today.
