Mali is a geopolitical quicksand just about to suck in the warmongers and MIC shills and spin merchants. The losers, as ever, will be innocent, poor Malians and naive soldiers. Remember John Reid's statement at the start of the Afghan occupation that it would be done 'without a shot being fired'. Cameron and Hague are spinning a variation of that about Mali even as you are reading this.
