"Police have confirmed that 23 people were killed and dozens more wounded in 11 car bomb attacks in Iraq on Wednesday evening.
The districts affected included Kadhimiya and Sadr City in the north and Mashtal and Baghdad Jadida and Al-Husseiniya in the east.
Two cafes and a bus stop were reportedly targeted in the attacks."
