UN report paints grim assessment of Libya - Telegraph:
"The UN notes the dangers of "political polarisation" and reports that "revolutionary brigades" consisting of armed militiamen have taken over large areas of eastern Libya.
In particular, they have blockaded the country's oil export terminals, reducing production from a pre-war level of 1.6 million barrels per day to about 200,000.
Meanwhile, the UN warns that illegal arms, including "chemical weapons materiel", are "easily accessible" and "pose a considerable threat to national and regional security"."
