Syrian Refugees

I am a regular donor to foreign aid charities. But I haven't made any donations to the appeals for aid for Syria. This story is one reason. However, it also occurs to me that a better way of helping people in war zones like Syria is for USrael not to de-stabilise those countries (Iraq, Libya, Syria for example) in the first place. The US/CIA at the behest of Israel act to undermine a beautiful, prosperous country, dictatorship or not, like Syria then ask for 'humanitarian' aid for the victims. Their own victims. Victims they themselves created. I'm always reminded in these situations of the quote from Willard in Apocalypse Now - 'We'd cut them in half with a machine gun and give them a Band-Aid. It was a lie—and the more I saw of them, the more I hated lies.'
