The heading summarises US foreign policy now in my opinion. Since 1980 America has invaded, occupied or bombed 14 Muslim countries. Just in case you were wondering where ISIS appeared from. Every 'intervention' has made matters worse and only served to promote the spread of jihadism. The power vacuums left behind in Iraq and Libya and Afghanistan (soon) are a barometer of the superficiality as well as the ineptitude of the US and her satrap's foreign policies in the Middle East. Obama hesitated over ISIS, presumably realising the potential futility of another adventure. Media and securocrat pressure forced his hand for no other reason than giving the pretence of power. A hollow, shallow power indeed.
