The Bullingdon Bomber Speaks

Cameron: 'We cannot afford not to act in Syria' - ITV News

David Cameron is to present his case to MPs for the UK to begin airstrikes against Islamic State in Syria. Cameron told a Commons committee "the threats to our interests and to our people are such that we cannot afford to stand aside and not to act." He and the rest of the Tory 'Bombs For Syria' crew are using the soundbite 'We can't outsource UK defence to others'. This makes clear that the pointless bombing will only be an exercise in keeping up the illusion/delusion that Britain is a world power. They don't want to be outdone by France who started the bombing at the behest of Washington.
