Absurd. One of the things that is wrong with this world - money spent by the 1% on their egos. It's all about who wins the bidding wars, who has bragging rights. Insane and sad. A perfect example of how misplaced our priorities are.
Annie, maybe a bit over-enthusiastic about Picasso? A man for all Cezannes in my opinion. Teresa, couldn't agree more. A beautiful painting all the same.
I think Picasso was quite good as a painter.
