Ed Miliband's Labour Party shot itself in the foot (the head maybe) when it announced Blair is to take on his first job in British politics since leaving Downing Street – advising Labour on its policy review. The announcement was marked at a party at the Emirates stadium. Not Blair's first encounter with the Emirates but this one would have been less profitable for him. And for the Labour Party. Beyond satire.
