To use an American phrase, Prescott is a dollar short and a day late with his sudden insight to the obvious, 10 years after it became obvious. He says 'we' paid a great price for the Iraq bloodbath. No. The Iraqi people paid the price. He paid nothing. A disgrace that his career and those of other George Bush/Tony Blair toadies and sycophants are still in place in UK politics.
