"In the western Baghdad neighborhood of al-Amel, five civilians were killed and 24 others injured in two successive bombings.
A car bombing in central Baghdad also killed 3 civilians and injured 6 others, while a later bombing near the fortified Green Zone area left 3 people killed and 7 wounded.
In the eastern suburb of al-Sadr, a car bombing targeted popular cafes, killing 5 people and wounding 25, according to an Iraqi Interior Ministry statement."
