ISIS - Some Facts

Remember that ISIS are freedom fighters when executing Syrian soldiers (top) and terrorists when executing Iraqi soldiers (immediately above).

  1. This makes me sick, but I also am so grateful you are posting those things that need to be seen ... the things that matter. Life and death are becoming trivialized, and that is beyond sad. It's horrifying.

    1. The Iraq invasion in 2003 was the reason I began this blog all the way back then, Teresa. I felt that Iraqi lives were just regarded as commodities. Counters in a petro-dollar lottery. I've never stopped returning to the Iraq arena because the violence has never, never stopped even for a day since the invasion bloodbath. Nobody was much interested (in 2009-12 only a few people visited the site) There were days when there were no hits on the pieces I put up. The traffic has been pretty steady since then, boosted again by the recent ISIS uprising. But even if nobody came by here, I would still post pieces about the horrors visited on the Iraq people by the West, to add to the tribulations they had already suffered. It's a kind of catharsis or exorcism to me, if you see what I mean. Not many other people are doing it. Our friend at the Reality Zone is one exception.

    2. We have a very short term, selective memory about so many things. I was just thinking today about how quiet we are now about the Nigerian schoolgirls who are still being held captive, and more have recently been taken captive. Iraq is a never ending nightmare ... our government's recent concern, despite the ongoing bloodbath there, has given me pause for thought ... what is the real agenda (other than the obvious - oil) and what is going on elsewhere as they divert our attention here once again ... I am grateful to you and RZ for continuing to bring the truth to our attention.
