John Miller, whose son Simon, 21, was one of six Redcaps murdered in Al Majar Al-Kabir in June 2003, says Blair has only increased terror in the world. He said it makes him sick to the stomach. That goes for me too. You missed the fact that former Australian Prime Minister John Howard and Colombian President Alvaro Uribe will also receive the honour. Another couple of stooges. John Miller is right when he says Blair and Bush have done more to make the world more dangerous than any other leaders.
ReplyDeleteDid I see Blair's lips quiver when Bush pinned the medal on him? What a prat. Bush said he would always be very welcome in America. As far as most Brits are concerned he would be very welcome to stay in America.
ReplyDeleteSays it for me, Jonno. Blair was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in July 2003 and, for reasons yet to be convincingly explained, has never collected the gong. It was from embarrassment of course. He couldn't refuse the last request from Dubya's political deathbed. They will both be consigned to the scrapheap of history with the epitaph written in blood.
