RZ. Just returned from holiday and am catching up. Hasan is the editor of the New Statesman, a left-leaning magazine which was the light-house of the intellectual left in Britain in the 70s when I was a student. It and he are now much reduced and cling to the fantasy that the Labour Party destroyed by Blair and Brown et al still exists. I don't doubt a word of his article, though. Prejudice against muslims is alive and well in the UK too.
What is going on over there in the U.K.?
ReplyDeleteMy feedjit [live traffic feed] is showing a lot of hits today from the U.K. for this thread.
