Michael Ware - A Real Reporter

Proper journalism and reportage was, and is, conspicuous by its absence from the Iraq invasion and continuing occupation. Embeds (bah!) recycle press releases from the Coalition as they do from Nato and Isaf in Afghanistan. Michael Ware, like Robert Fisk, has reported without fear or favour on the true squalour of the Iraq debacle and tragedy. An eloquent and deserved tribute to him here. Strength to your keyboard, Michael and  best wishes for a speedy recovery from all at Wolves In The City.

    Welcome, RZ. I first carried footage of Ware reports from Iraq on here years ago. A most impressive observer and a true journalist in a pit of charlatans who go by that name.
